Comment: Hi, Im so impressed by all the information you have, and i was wondering, you know how you mentioed the book writen in 1889? well there has been and updated version of this book, with corrections and younger genearations added. It was compiled in 1971 by Charles Whitman, and i just thouht you should know incase you didnt already. Im a decendent of Edward the 3rd son of John Deacon.

Comment: My great grand father, Edward Whitman, was born in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, in 1831, or 1832. I believe his parents names were John and Sarah, but I'm not certain. Everything from this one block to present, I have. Is there anyone, or any place I might be able to try? I know they migrated to ohio by 1840, and were living in Montgomery County. But from Edward back, I'm stopped. Help if you can. Thank you!
